Analog learning in digital times?

Over the last two years, as we've had to work and learn almost exclusively digitally, it has become clear how important digital solutions have become in the education sector. The COVID-19 pandemic has made the need for digital technologies and media in the classroom more apparent. However, digitalization in education is not just a short-term solution to current challenges but also an important step toward the future of education.

Currently, education experts, companies, teachers, educators, and parents are discussing this topic at Europe's largest education fair, Didacta in Stuttgart. TDSoftware has already implemented successful projects such as Juniti, a new app for youth centers, schools, and other social institutions, or TK's MedienUniversum, for customers in this area. Of course, we are at Didacta to discuss the opportunities, challenges, and solutions of digitalization in education with the participants.

Dominik, our on-site expert, summarizes his impressions: "Digital topics are relevant to everyone and should be pushed forward together. The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated many things in this regard, but the market still needs targeted support. We must consider that the starting point in schools is very different. However, if digital solutions are carefully planned, implemented, and properly utilized, they can bring many educational advantages."
